work is absolutely the last place I want to be right now. nobody's calling in, no networks are going down, and I don't much care for the company of my co-workers. I don't frequent very many sites on the web, and the ones that I do spend time at are moving slowly tonight.

everything's quiet except for the music in my head, playing on a loop, like somebody's put my brain on hold.
