Christian the Grumpy Know-It-All approaches me at work yesterday morning:

"How do you get away with those shorts?" he asks.
"I dunno. I have nice legs," I say.
"No, no, no," he says, "I mean at work. Every day you show up in shorts and sandals. The rest of us have to wear pants."
"Oh," I say, "I didn't know that."

and I didn't.


Then, this morning, I get an e-mail from my boss asking me not to wear shorts and sandals to work during business hours.

I smell a rat.

I'm always wary about buying clothing online, though. I have a hard enough time finding shirts that fit me the way I like them to when I can try them on in the store... just to blindly grab one off of teh intarweb is a dangerous proposition for me.

Anybody know what the sizes are like? Are they pre-shrunk? Do they breeeeaaathe?

edit: Eh, fuck it. Bought and paid for. Didn't realize shipping and handling would be quite so much, though...

Should be here by next week, right around the time I'm getting home from Buffalo. (result!)
