I invented a new kind of chicken marinade today. Sorta new. It was a mishmash of things, unnatural and frightening. Like the platypus, or A Different World. A delicious affront to God. O, day and night, but it was wondrous strange.

also, somewhat unrelated to chicken, but not quite deserving of its own asterisk page break, I went and picked up a pair of exciting new books with a B&N gift card I found in a box in my closet. On SGs recommendation, I nabbed The Time Traveller's Wife, and after hearing a segment on All Things Considered with the author, I also got Tokyo Cancelled. I'm excited about them.

And, in addition, Bitlord informed me that episodes 7, 8, and 9 of the new Doctor Who were ready for viewing, which thrilled the shit out of me, since I'd forgotten that I was downloading them.
