Terrible dreams last night. Can't remember much about them. I know that I killed two men with a heavy industrial nail because they were threatening to kill my sister. I know I broke the neck of a woman who was bound at the ankles and wrists, lying on the floor, and laughing at me like a funhouse clown. I remember waking up several times sweating only to return to the same dream when I'd fall back to sleep again.

I finally woke up for good around noon. Got a call from Cingular telling me that I owed two months' worth of payments. Rent is due tomorrow. Financial aid expired, and my tuition disbursement was cancelled, so I owe all of that, plus a possible hundred dollar late fee. That $200 refund check? Reabsorbed by the school to pay for classes. No word yet from the Police Department about my employment request. I went by again today and got a reference number for an application. I haven't signed up for classes yet. Can't until I take care of tuition.

On top of all that, I just got an e-mail from my speech lab TA telling me grades were online. The persuasive speech that I thought I kicked ass on? The one she told me was a definite improvement? I got a lower grade on it than I got on my informative speech. So explain that one to me.

And instead of being able to say "once everything's taken care of, you can have yourself a nice long crawfish weekend with your friends" I have to seriously consider cancelling on them.

So, next is locusts, and then boils.
