My computer is still non-functioning. I haven't gotten around to taking it to my friend's yet. Hopefully he can fix it when I do finally take it over there. In the meantime, my PS2 has resumed the "disc read error". And it was working so well for about 4-5 months there. I have decided to take matters into my own hands. Wish me luck as a disasemble my PS2. Here's hoping that those internet directions help me rid my PS2 of this problem once and for all!
