another full day at work.. woke up this morning feeling like shit.. decided i had to take a day off sick if my body wasn't going to shut down completely.. lasted nearly ten minutes before i came to the conclusion that i have far too much to do.. if i took today off i'd have to work the weekend.. and more worryingly.. if i took...

Have you investigated whether or not eating gnocchi is contributing to your feeling crappy? It's pretty nasty stuff, albeit tasty. Maybe you should eat more fruits and vegetables.

SFTU sounds cool.
inkedbuddhist:
Hhmm. not something I've considered.. I'm trying to eat better (like actually cooking at home in instead of eating out).. and gnocchi being nice and quick helped me achieve that.. but definitely need to build in more vegetables.. and fruit though I do have a fair bit at work...

Well done! few pepole learn to move forward with depression let alone help others! (many kisskiss's for you, for the effort). I think the little things become the big things, my saving grace now is that I have people whom, I can just spill everything too! (plus the depression group on SG, is great too).
inkedbuddhist:
thanks to you both smile

panther.. you've hit the nail on the head!! soften the fck up is exactly about raising the opportunity for people to be able to spill everything out.. its the biggest tool in battling depression..

its nice to think of the world as a dream..
when you wake up from a nightmare.. you tell yourself it was a bad dream..
they say the world we live in isn't very different from a dream...

i define me...

not other peoples perceptions..
of what i wear..
of how i act..
of my tattoos..

not my mistakes..
nor my past..
but what i learn from them..

not any illness..
but how i fight to recover..

i define me..
my drive to be the best i can..
my commitment to learning from my past.. the good and the bad..
my want to...
