So my job is pretty fucking kickass. I'm a teacher's assistant for computer science (level 100 and the entire CIT minor) but more importantly I have office hours to help students. I really like teaching these kids. I love seeing how (not to brag) my explanations make so much sense to them (in there words) more than the actual teachers. They literally say I explain the material wayyy better than the teachers. They literally tell me they don't want to come to other TA's or instructor's office hours because I'm apparently that good a tutor.
They even complained to the instructor that the graduate student teaching the labs isn't a good teacher and I should be teaching it... (to which I received an email from my boss saying I'm an assistant only not an instructor)
If they can't make my office hours they reject going to other people's and ask for my email instead. lol?
I'm sorry if this sounds like bragging, but I love the love and positive feedback I receive from my job.
Best part is my current teacher for 210 offered me a position to do what I'm doing now for the 200 sequence once I complete it!
THAT WAS LITERALLY MY ENTIRE PLAN!!!!!! AND IT WAS OFFERED TO ME WEEK 1 AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
