I doodled all over myself with Henna paste yesterday. One hour and half a tube of paste later, my left arm from fingertips to elbow is this ornate design of swirls loops and dots. I love it! I sincerely love it and am very proud of it. Hubby came home yesterday and also fell in love with my new "Tattoo".

This morning- I bopped out to the itty bitty town's market to grab some greek yogurt (we're almost out and I love the stuff) and eggs so we can cook breakfast for the soon to be in town mother and brother in-law (to me, not him).

Holy shit- you would think I was the second coming of Hitler, strutting my stuff up into the itty bitty asshole market! Kids were saying "Oh, mommy... Look at her arm.... What's wrong with it?" Mommy's reply? "It's a tattoo. They're dirty... You'll never be getting one of THOSE..." I continued to get stares, more then the usual amount when I were clothing that shows my real ink. One cashier was going to come over and bag my groceries for me, I smiled to her. She took one look at my arm, looked me in the eye, and said "Oh, well. You'll be fine. You didn't buy THAT much..." then proceeded to walk away to whisper and chatter to another cashier, both of them taking turns staring at me.

Fed up at this point, I casually flipped them the bird, with my henna adorned left middle finger and uttered the words... "Fuck off you closed minded bitches. Have a wonderful fucking day!"

What the hell??? Why are people so fucking stupid when it comes to other's with ink. Henna or real, for that matter. Tattoos are not dirty or gross. They are fucking beautiful and I love them and love people with them!!! Show your ink proudly people! And fuck those that look down on you for it. They're just chicken shits!!
