The party last night was pretty fun, though I got stupid drunk and acted, well, stupid. Unfortunately, I don't remember certain things too well, but overall it was good.
I did, however, make the mistake of making a drunken speech to "the girl" about how I've had "a thing" for her for a long time and blah blah blah. I'm pretty sure I made an ass of myself by doing that instead of just playing it cool. Also, I managed to lose the piece of paper that had her email address on it. (However, I will see her on Wednesday, so all is not lost...unless I fucked up worse than I think I did.)
Unfortunately, she seems to be in the "I'm not ready to get involved with anyone" head space at the moment, so probably nothing will happen between us at this point. But, regardless, she is a fun person, so I'm sure we'll still hangout, even if it does just end up being a platonic thing.
