Hooked up the Gateway for my new VoIP phone and...it doesn't work. And, my roomate's internet no longer works. Fun stuff. I hate having to call tech support for anything, because tech support folks are, with rare exception, useless idiots.
Speaking of useless idiots, a good friend of mine has an interview to join their ranks tomorrow. Tech support! Fun!
But, he will be the first of my friends to be finished with school a working a "real job." Previously, I was the only one. Being the only person with money (not a lot, but enough that I can actually afford to go to the pub after work once in a while) in my group of friends was not fun because none of them could afford to do anything that I want to do (they are all students). Apparently, money has made me greedy or something. I was never this way when I was a student.
I don't think I'm making sense. I have been having some trouble with a certain woman today, so I'm kind of upset and not thinking straight. Romance is frustrating, especially when the person you're trying to be romantifc with wants no part of it because she is happy being single. Frustrating!
