In a fit of boredom I stretched my nipples to 4 gauge today. I was at 6 for a year and a half, and had been thinking about it for a while. It went very smoothly, and virtually painless unlike previous stretches.

I did. I thought Laird was going to break it up. Garza got a few calls at the end of that game...that's all I will say.

In the live-ball era (since 1920) there have been 177 no-hitters and only 44 5-hit, 7-RBI games. So Mauer's feat is actually far more rare.
