at a certain point in the job search you begin to wonder if you do in fact possess marketable skills. after looking over a few hundred job postings today, i think im at that point. i type this while acknowledging the fact that ive applied to more jobs this week than i have in a month.

I suppose one of the positives to come out of my unemployment spell is that im finally getting rid of some crap i dont need anymore. im a bit of a pack rat, but after having nothing to do for three months my excuses for not getting rid of some things or fixing others really dont exist. i also could use the cash. managed to...

Me too! And I see you live in New York which means you probably share with me as well the added bonus of seeing homeless people from the living room windows and feeling weird about the fact that we're both doing about the same amount with our day, only I have sweet digs and DVR. It's a strange sensation, because it's different than the usual sort of guilt-tinged discomfort that I experience regarding homeless populations. It's just weird to stay in one place all day with a view of people also staying in one place all day. I should probably stop talking now, I'm pretty out of it. Instead of rereading what I just wrote, I'm just going to hope for the best that none of it is offensive.
drunk! hehe. in contrast to previous drunkenness, im not sad or pissed off. been watching improv everywhere videos on youtube. my roommate showed me the star wars video a couple hours ago (which was awesome) and ive been watching others ever since.

i rode 55 miles yesterday and another 35 today. the 55 was the longest ride ive attempted in months. im getting faster, and my speed is more consistent on hills. i cant wait for the heat and humidity to abate. soaking my jersey after just 10 miles is getting old.
