i spent a couple hours last night cleaning the drive train on my bike, thinking id get up and get out today because i knew it was supposed to be cloudy and i wouldnt fry quite as much. as it happens, it looks the forecast for rain is going to be accurate for the first time in three weeks.

it strikes me as odd with all the things i can do online (pay my bills, buy almost anything, plan a vacation, etc) i still need a fax machine to have student loan deferments processed. looks like im off to kinkos.

it took me a while, but i finally figured out what my son of a bitch ex roommate ran off with. ive turned my apartment inside out and i cant find the case that had all my dvds in it. i also cant find the cord that connected my flat screen to my laptop.

if i was still in (or back in) san francisco, id step outside and look at the skyline and see some stars. however, not only is it cloudy outside, but im in new york. i feel almost homesick for that place. i want a second chance to do it right.

why is it that with a couple of exceptions all the jobs i want are in san francisco?

unemployment benefits are still pending. it makes me nervous.

i find it amusing that i update this constantly now that im not working. however, since i remain seriously concerned that about the mental side effects of my newfound unemployment, ill probably continue to babble here. it helps just to get thoughts out of my head and not bother my roommates or parents or friends with them.

last weekend on rode about 35 miles on both saturday and sunday. today, after having to buy a new rear wheel yesterday (race x lite) i rode 57. out to sparkhill and back, and then down to battery park and back home. took a bit over three hours. im now sore virtually everywhere. ride was good though.

ive officially been fired.

i dont know what the fuck im going to do next.

my administrative leave day had to be tuesday. wow does server maintenance and its raining so i cant even ride. so fucking frustrated right now. if i get fired for this im going to blow a fucking gasket.
