Just so the last one isn't the first any more.
I havent talked to my parents in a couple weeks, but I think my mom believes ignorance is bliss. I don't. I've incorporated what I know now into who I am. It only strengthens the idea that my parents are the strongest people I've ever met.
I'm still having trouble quitting smoking and drinking. I'm an addict. Part of me is ok with it. Its hard to quit because I enjoy both activities. In the past I've quit because I've found a way to make both activities hurt. There's a gym at my office. If I start using it smoking will start to hurt. That's my way out.
In other news, everything is going well. My sister and I are talking (best decision I've made in a long time), my bike is running well, I'm becoming a better rider at speed (45+ mph), and work is going very well. I'm very close to paying off the first of my student loans, and my top-of-the-line riding gear should be here within a week. I'd say I'm happy but I don't think I'm there yet. I'll say I'm happily content.
I'm currently working my way through the second season of Lost Girl. Though I feel like difficult plot points are often solved in slightly contrived and easy ways, I like the show. And really, both Anna Silk and Ksenia Solo are hot as hell.
