I feel empowered. Not only by this new revelation but by all the women on this website that - like me - are not your average size 10-12. All you plus-sized women have really made me feel much better about my body. So much better that I actually took some photos the other day and put them up. That is probably the most I've ever shown of myself online. Hopefully I'll be able to show all of me one day.
Rain veils jakarta on a daily basis. And when it isnt raining, the air is thick and hot and heavy. Its like inhaling great mouthfuls of water. I feel dizzy if I stay outside for too long. I always retreat back into my room. Or any other place with an air conditioner. Awesome thunderstorms, awesome showers, awesome (in a bad way) traffic jams. I have been witness to some amazing thunderstorms. Lightning is beautiful yet frightening because you know whats coming next. The area I live in seems to be a magnet for thunder and lightning. The sky just continually rumbles and growls for half an hour.

I've always wanted to visit Jakarta, and just the fact that there are thunderstorms as epic as you describe them, that's more than enough to gain my attention. There is something about electricity that scares me and attracts me in the most primitive way, the way some people stare into fire for hours.
