This trip really was so much more than I could've imagined... all of the elements were in place... I'm going to refrain from gushing but here are a few highlights:

- Flew into San Juan (complete w/a resounding applause from the crowd upon landing)... headed to Old San Juan and we (myself and Tom) quickly won $150 each at the Casino... A PHAT dinner followed!

- About two hundred yards from shore, sitting on our surfboards, a pod of hump-back whales begins to BREACH out of the water and subsequently creates a huge wall of spray... UN-FRIGGIN-BELIEVABLE... one of those moments that is cliche', spiritual, and just awe-inspiring... breathtaking.

- Massages in our room by a BEAUTIFUL woman (no happy ending in case you're wondering, and I know you are).

- Meeting an incredible bunch of people that included (I've changed the names to protect the guilty):
- J, an ex-Navy seal who's got more one-liners than Henny Youngman
- Fl, a lass who spent weeks there and knew the social calendar of the entire island.
- Her barely legal sister who continued to shock us w/her degree on not-so-innocent stories about what the kids are up to these days.
- Nan, who's parents owned the local bar/grill that sits at the base of our surfing beach.

- Bonfire parties on the beach w/viscious views of a full moon.

- CHEAP FOOD AND DRINKS EVERYWHERE... even the most upscale restaurant was equal to a moderate meal here. You could get loaded and buy two rounds of drinks for under $20.

- Returning to the same Casino in San Juan and winning a $150 more.

I'm sure I'm going to re-count more and more... but that's just a start. VACATION PICS ARE UP!
