Whoa... who was the sorry sap that wrote that last entry? I'm gonna find that fucker and kick his tear havin' ass'. But seriously folks... that was a rare little burst, and not at all an implication that I'm in some weirdo form of grieving.

I'm home sick today,,, been sick for days. Went into work for a couple of hours yesterday to take a few meetings but it just took the piss out of me...

I LOATHE calling in sick... not because I hate being home, but just feel as though (in our day and age/country) that calling in sick exposes a weakness... HOW fucked up is that?

NY magazine just published an article on the stress an average NY'er endures... it found that NYC peeps work more and take less time off than workers in Japan (traditionally, our Japanese peeps work friggin HARD... did anyone see "Gung Ho"?)... Friggin crazy.

But it's true... calling in sick doesn't mean i'm home in bed watching the tube. It means, I'm on the couch watching tv between answering e-mails and taking phone calls/meetings.... that's the way we roll.
