WINTER STORM 2004-SQUALL-TSUNAMI-NOREASTER- ANTARCTIC BLAST that was so heavily hyped (accompanied by threatening music) come and go with a whimper?
I was expecting a mound of snow waiting for me, blocking my path to the subway, effectively crushing my hopes to get to work... Instead, a mere couple of inches (not even enough to touch the end of my pants leg), rested on the ground...
It's not as if the news outlets had nothing else to report... I mean, the fucking PRIMARY in NH was going on... we just had a controversial police shooting etc... but all I could hear was a few bars of DESPERATE music followed by a brash graphic ,"WINTER STORM 2004... BE READY!"...
