Noise.

There's a thread about that on TPC, started by good ol' Wolverine, and it got me thinking. I like noise. Wouldn't say that's the opposite of music, tho. And that's where the debate's getting heated. Er, confused. Er, academic. Er, pedantic.

I'm as much into theory and definition as the next stealthgeek, but it gets me to wondering.

The theorem probably holds. Just because nobody understands you, that doesn't make you an artist.

But the corollary probably holds, too. Just because you don't understand it, that doesn't mean it's not art.
