Studio Acquisition
I have just acquired a piece of property that I'm transforming into a major studio... The studio will have 3 shooting areas, an editing room, a wardrobe room, MUA station, a dressing room/bathroom, and a reception area/ waiting room....
The Shooting Areas
The "Blue/Green Screen Room"- This room obviously will be used to shoot images that will be digitally redesigned, enhanced, and/or manipulated..
The "Staging Room"- This room will be using physical props to create the image effects. Most images created in this room will not be using digital enhancements, and/or manipulations. This room will require imagination and skill from the photographer.
The "Commercial Room"- This room will have an area to take pictures of commercial products. On the opposite side of the room there will be an area that will be used for "walk-in" test shots...
Editing Room
This room will have all the photo printing equipment, and a Mac power tower
Wardrobe Room
This room will be like a walk-in closet, filled with wardrobes and outfits for any occasion. **Note: I have no wardrobes and outfits, as of yet, to fill this room...
MUA Area
We all know no studio can be complete without an MUA (Make Up Artist) Area. I intend this area to eventually be used by the same MUA.
Dressing Area
This room is big and spacious enough for individuals to dress, and/or use the restroom during shoots...
Reception Area
This area is self-explanitory. This is where clients come in fill out forms, wait, and so forth...
