Katy, if you get the Feds on us, I swear to God...
How did you spend last night?
My friends and I broke into what was once the most violent prison in the country, and if you're open to that kind of thing, is throught to be one of our most haunted locations.
It was an accident. We really just went up there to snoop around the outside, it's creepy enough that way. But there are a half dozen wooden doors around the outside with tiny locks on them. We found one around back, and the lock came off when my friend Dan grabbed for it.
Uh...I have the lock. Right here.
Uh...what?
We shoved the door open. Oh my god. So fucking spooky. We climbed the staircase that lead up to one of the watch towers. Everything is covered in massive cobwebs. I hate spiders, so I was trying not to think about it.
It was quite an adventurous adventure. About once a month they choose a night to open the prison to visitors who get to roam freely from 9pm until 6 am. For a price. We're going in November, because the night happens to fall on my friend Stefy's birthday.
Anyone know where we can get proton packs?
Brad: You know, I've lived here almost three years now, and it's only been in the last two weeks I've had people sleep on my futon.
fragiletoughgirl: I'm sure lots of new things are happening for you. Breaking into abandoned prisons, for instance.
Brad: Here, now, I only took photographic evidence. Never know when I'll need blackmail pictures.
Brad: You know, if it weren't for the strong look of disapproval on Jason's face, I woulda come into the caretaker area with you. He's got that expression down, though.
fragiletoughgirl: hahaha
fragiletoughgirl: They probably had cameras on us. We'll go back there in November for the all-night stay and they'll be like "Alright, do you have your release forms...wait a second. GET 'EM!"
fragiletoughgirl: Then some chase music from Scooby Doo will start playing.
fragiletoughgirl: And we'll be running back and forth, in and out of doors in a long corridor.
Brad: ::snicker:: That would be a riot. And if it's Scooby chase music, I vote for some of the cheesy British-Invasion knockoff tunes they used to play, like that one about how the singer's in love with an ostrich (I'm not joking).
fragiletoughgirl: And one time, a ghost will come out of one of them carrying you. And you'll look at each other, then you'll fly up into the air and hang there for a few seconds while your legs make running motions. Then you'll speed through another door.
Brad: With that "boompity-boompity-boompity-BEOWWM!" sound effect.
fragiletoughgirl: Yup.
Brad: Ultimately, we'll all run into the ghost and security guards at the same time, skidding to a halt, and we'll collide into a hilarious jumble.
fragiletoughgirl: See, you know how it goes.
Brad: I forget how we'll escape, though.
Brad: Refresh my memory?
fragiletoughgirl: We'll find out the ghost is actually the old warden who was pissed off about the damn kids meddling around his prison. He was just wearing a rubber mask.
fragiletoughgirl: Then the Harlem Globetrotters will show up.
Brad: ::gasp:: Mister Felton??
fragiletoughgirl: It will be Don Knotts.
Brad: Actually, that's not too farfetched.
fragiletoughgirl: I know. :]
Brad: And after it's all said and done, Dan will go, "But wait! it's morning! We spent all night running around, and no one got the chance to get scared!" And Stefy will roll her eyes and say, "Oh, Dan," and the group will belly-laugh.
fragiletoughgirl: Perfect.
Brad: Starring...
Brad: Katy as KATY
fragiletoughgirl: Woo!
Brad: Stefy as STEFY
Brad: Jason as DISAPPROVING JASON
Brad: Ricky as CAMERA BOY
Brad: Dan as WACKY DAN
Brad: Erica as KATY'S SISTER
