Isn't it ironic that "Honesty is the best policy" is sometimes a lie?
Random thoughts.
I was recently struck by the realization that Mac and Me was a total fucking ripoff of ET.
ET. There's a movie I never really understood the big fuss about. I didn't even like it when I was a kid.
For me to really like a movie when I was a kid, it had to meet one or both of the following criteria: 1. Be about vampires. 2. Star Jodie Foster.
The Lost Boys was my favorite. I remember when I was maybe six or seven I saw a guy at the mall that looked exactly like Kiefer Sutherland and was dressed in a black trench coat. I was fascinated by that guy.
Vampires are sex. That's why the song "Cry Little Sister" makes me feel a little funny (funny... blush ) to this day. That scene was fucking HOT.
I have two awesome ideas for my Halloween costume this year. It will be a surprise even to me which one I choose, because I'll do so at the last minute.
Amazon.com says American Gothic is not available in a boxset. I need to start a petition.
Someone's at the door.
Remember that show? IT WAS THE SHIT!
One time I was buying myself a caramel latte at Books-A-Million, and there was a little girl behind the counter playing with her toy pony. I left $5 in the tip jar just because that was the sweetest thing I had seen all day.
If you ever want to see me cry, make me watch Legend. I always cry at that movie. Just because the unicorns are so beautiful.

Must add, that I love Richard Linklater. I was happy to see he was the subject of the latest interview.

I just sat here and pictured you on the 4th of July hucking babies into the air and watching them promptly explode. Man would that put a different spin on our day of independence.
