Mead is a drink that is probably most famous from the Viking era. Mead generally is fermented honey and spices or other things added. There is a brand name I think simply called "Mead" out there. Their spiced mead is just nails. It has the exact thickness and texture of a wine, but it's a good winter warm ya up drink.
