Oh my! Working takes up so much time!
I started doing Promotions for Nokturnel on Thursday. Club Promotions is really a fancy way of saying "I stand on a street corner and hand out club passes".
My corner is Harmon and Las Vegas Blvd, which incidentally is where Tupac Shakur was shot. I wish I had a little spy camera so I could show you the visual highlights. Its fascinating out there. Its like a sociological experiment every night. There is something about working smack in the middle of nitty gritty Vegas, its strangely inspiring to pound the pavement with the hookers and crackheads.
For all of my big, strong, semi-protective friends, I will mention that they keep me within eyesight of the bouncers at the club, and the bikers at the Harley Davidson Cafe. Ain't nobody gonna fuck with me.
I hope all is well in SG-ville with the rest of you.
Updated to add: Thunderstorms in Utah have prevented my boyfriend and I from escaping to Zion.
I think we might get a hotel on the strip and run around like tourists. That could be fun...

Are you auditioning for KA by any chance? I auditioned for it a few years ago

I did a crazy extended video audition(about 10 different movement based improvs). The video was about 50 minutes total. I was up for the Evil Counselor role, I think I got pretty far in the process. They called me personally to say that I did not get the role. I keep geting called in for their general audition, but I can never make it. Did you enjoy working with them? I used to go to parties with the Cirque casts whan I worked at Utah Shakespeare.
