RIP: Elle's era of frivolity. 11/22/2004-7/31/2005
I'm officially broke. I've spent the afternoon looking for a misplaced check that would grant me the peace of mind of August bills being managable. No dice so far.
The end of an era is upon me, but alas, I cannot be sad. I really had a great run of freedom and unemployment. As I think about it, its truly no surprise I'm out of cash, lets recap:
Since I left Cirque I've:
-Totaled a car and upgraded vehicles
-Goten to be handicapped, and learn lots of important lessons from it
-Go-go danced for an Elvis impersonator
-Been Las Vegas' shortest showgirl
-Gotten bendy for the aristocrats in Seattle
-Made Balloon animals for my little buddy's birthdays
-Been to Colorado twice
-Been to Seattle twice
-Been to California at least 10 times
-Been to Arizona, Florida, Utah, etc...
-Made some cool shit
-Met some AMAZING people
-Seen a ton of shows
-danced my heart out
-laughed until I cried
-cried until I laughed
-kissed until I was chapped
-had countless adventures... too numerous to mention.
-and basically, LIVED LIKE I MEANT IT.
Unfortunately, this era must come to a close. I might be able to sneak in a couple more road trips, but I can no longer ignore the unfortunate fact that money is a necessary piece in the adventure puzzle.
Its truly been a grand adventure. I hope I'll be lucky enough to do it again some day.

glad you found work. I start looking tommorrow. but probably only for temp work. How was the weekend? things are great here. We're almost totally moved in. you should come over when we are. also, my friend leslie is coming from gainesville, fl in a couple of weeks. she is rad. I need to find lots of cool things for her to do.
