Leafs lost ... Check

UFC on Spike TV ... Not a great card.

Watched Bruno ... Uncomfortably funny.

Not the best night for events, but they can't all be ragers, can they ?

Today is " clean the environment" day ...dust, sweep, vacuum.

Other than that, not too sure what to do with myself.

that is correct. Its hard from time to time, stressful and its also hard every time someone passes..

How does your mother like her nursing home then? Does she think its okey or is she like most people "tryin to deal with it"..

Sorry I missed a few letters when I wrote to you. I thought I wrote grandmother. Sorry about that shocked Im glad that she is feeling at home smile

Friday. End of the work week.

I only worked 3 days this week, had Monday off waiting for a contractor who never showed, and Wed, for Remembrance Day ( Provincial Gov't holiday ).

On the contractor note, he showed last night, and ripped the wall out behind my toilet. When he's coming back, I've no idea, OR the work he has to do.

My entire...

yeah, it was fascinating. although i was the teensiest bit dissapointment, because they didnt really look human anymore. more plastic dolls fabricated in a factory type of thing. but that's morbid me i suppose. my mum totally loved the exhibit.
kip:
totally, it was a must see exhibit,

So, here it is, one day before Remembrance Day.

Even if you don't " support " the war, or ANY war, just remember all who gave for their countries beforehand.

Just don't look at it like a day off, or shopping day ...Take a moment to reflect.

That's my semi - patriotic rant.

And please check out 3 fantastic Canadian SG's on the front page...

There.

The divorce proceeding are under way. All the paperwork is started.

I just have to hurry up and wait, as it may take anywhere from 3 - 6 months. Maybe longer.

And, there's no guarantee that the divorce will be exactly the same as the separation.

Strangely, I feel like a weight is lifted. But on the other hand, it's depressing that this whole...

Isn't everything just a cash grab these days? It's sickening.

If the boy and I ever decided to marry I really don't think we'd need a document stating that--- I mean. We are both on the same page with that whole thing...

But marriage is something we both don't really care about for the most part anyway. I'm not against it, but I also trust in my relationship enough to last, that I don't need a paper, or ring or any other form of proof for that.

I think it would be nice maybe to have a non-legal kind of "wedding"-- just something more symbolic and a celebration of our love. I could give a fuck less about everything else, I mean... it's all just legal stuff, and neither of us are really into anything that has to do with structure and government.
tweedle:
Yeah exactly! I honestly feel like a legal marriage would ruin the beauty of what I have, really. maybe not. this is actually a little too much for my head right now to be real about it. it's like the last thing on my mind right now.

OY VEY !!! LATE BLOG !

Usually I try to upkeep this bloggy thing around noon-ish, but was just busy today.

Tomorrow morning, a contractor is coming to rip apart my bathroom / laundry room. Mold issue behind the shower.

Trying to get as much stuff washed, as I bought 3 new sheet sets. Yay for new sheets !!!

AND, I have a meeting with...

Ahhhh, another groovy Fall day here, in the arm-pit of Ontario ( it's Oshawa, for those of you who don't know ).

Going to see my Grandmother in her new residence. First visit to her in the nursing home.

My piercing is FINALLY starting to heal !!! No pain, no swelling. Little bit of pus coming out.

Just dousing the hell out of it with...

My mom called me a couple of hours ago. My Grandmother is going into a nursing home today.

We knew it was coming, still a bit of a shock.

I'm a little mixed on how I feel about this :

On one hand, she'll receive the care that most of the family can't provide. On the other, is there more that could've been done for...

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. My dad was in a home last year recovering from surgery. Takes some getting used to seeing them in a home like that. But they do provide the best care.

Hope you feel better.
sevarin:
I am sorry to hear that suga.frown It is really one of those things where you feel neutral. You are definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am uncertain of how I would feel if that day ever came and I almost feel that without a doubt, i will be faced with such a decision with my mother when she comes of age because she doesn't take care of herself while she's younger. My grandparents are still not to that point yet and maybe never will be.

Sometimes it is better for them to be placed in a home where they can have the proper care and attention that we may not be able to provide due to the fact that unfortunately, our lives must continue to go on even though our heart wishes us to be the caregivers. It is a natural for us to want to nurture family, but not always the best decision for us or them.

I hope things work out eventually. It will be a huge transitional period for everyone.
