NIX was awesome, checking out the artists from... everywhere, INCLUDING the guy who does my tattoos. He had a booth set up there. Didn't get any work done, it was more of a "re=con" mission, seeing what it was all about.
Then my buddy and I went to the legendary El Mocombo to see 4, yes 4, bands. The first was The British Columbians who were awesome. Next was Young Rival and they were good too. After them was Novillero and they were very energetic.
At 11 p.m. Band Of Skulls came on, FUCKING WICKED BAND !!! Everyone who likes good old fashioned rawk, should check this band out.
All in all, a great time, will post some pix later on, and can't wait until next year.
Now, I'm off to my Mom's to do laundry as the washer in my apartment, died this morning. FUCK !
