life is stupid.
the tattoo convention SUCKED. i did one fucking tattoo in 3 days. i just sat there the whole weekend, while people just kept walking by, and getting tattooed by other shitty artists. i did win best small color, and i got some gaudy trophy, so i guess that's good, but it's not like anyone there was really any good anyway. there were a few artists there who were pretty good, but i'm sure they didn't enter anything in the contest... so it's not all that meaningful to come out on top of a pile of poop, now is it? i still suck, as far as i'm concerned... but i suck better than at least a few people, i guess.
i'm tired and my back hurts from sitting around all weekend. i wouldn't mind if was all tired and sore from being busy, but few things feel worse than being tired after doing nothing.
someone should just come in and let me do whatever the fuck i want on them. seriously, everytime someone lets me do that it comes out awesome, and they like it way more. and they usually pay less.

Yea, that convention was pretty shitty. You folks are lucky I have no life outside of work, otherwise I would've totally ditched you at least one of those nights. It's kinda sucky that 95% of the tattoo industry is just fucking trash and there's only a handful of people working to refine their craft. Whatev dude. I'm pretty stoked with the way the designs are coming. I'll bring by crab pictures soon.
