ok so while im not the biggest LAND OF TALK fan i am an admirer. i love elizabeth powell's raspy little voice. Time Out had it pretty right when they called it: "a voice that flits between come-hither and go-fuck-yourself.
anyway, this video for "It's Okay" directed by the We Were Monkeys dudes is just insanely good. the visuals are just mindblowing. it's one of the most visually astounding videos ive seen in a while. it reminds me of Tarsem's work (THE CELL, THE FALL) mixed with JRR Tolkien mythology.
