Yesterday, instead of going to Sunsplash, we stayed home and had Allen & Nueve over. We grilled giant steaks and drank pina coladas poolside until we passed out. It was good times. It was the perfect way to end my "weekend" before heading into the next however many days it may end up being of work for me. The reason: in reviewing sales from the new girl we hired for weekends this month, it's pretty obvious she's skimming. So now I'm back to working Sundays again. I hate working Sundays. Slow, boring, no tips and all the guys that spend all day drinking in there are total fucking assholes.

I think it's so funny how some people at the bar think because I'm the owner's girlfriend I get preferrential treatment. They're fucking idiots. They don't realize, I don't get paid by the hour. The only money I get to keep is my tips. They also seem to forget when someone calls in or gets fired, I'm the one who has to cover their shift no matter what I may have planned. In addition to the fact that I'm already scheduled more days a week than anyone else who works there. But ya know, I get all kinds of favorable treatment. And it has nothing to with the fact that I work my ass off, and apparently has everything to do with who my boyfriend is.

Wow. This started out as a good update. Sorry for the rant.
