Monday morning already. Friday night was awesome. Scott and I played the Hold 'Em Tournament at the dog track where there was about 130 players and I took 2nd! I was pretty stoked because 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th pays actual money even with a zero buy-in. It was only $60, but it payed for our whole night out, which was pretty rad. After poker we met up with Cat and some other girls (who were already totally shit-bombed) and had more drunken shenanegins. It was an awesome night all around.

Saturday my mom and I went furniture shopping, but I couldn't really find anything I liked, so I'm going to continue looking this week. I may even check some Goodwills to see if there's any fixer-uppers I want to take on and save some cash. We shall see.

Saturday night was pretty low-key. Paul and I took Ethan to dinner, which I'm sure he really enjoyed. We actually had a pretty decent time just the three of us. I hope we can continue to do stuff together like that. I know it means a lot to Ethan, and that's important to both of us also.

So today I get to relax and play with my kid. We're going to take the car to get washed, then get some lunch and later on get crazy at the playground. I can't hardly wait. Then tonight I have a hot date with the boy. Today should be a pretty rad day.
