So today is my first day off after a very long 4 days stretch. I know to some of you that sounds like nothing, but working 4 nights in a row until 3:30am and still getting up early in the morning and spending all day with a 2 year old takes it's toll pretty quickly! I am so happy to have a day to myself where I can just relax and play with my kid. 
So this morning the property management company called to tell me my application for the condo I found was approved and I set my move-in date for Monday September 8th! I can't believe this is all happening. I feel like my life is finally starting to begin. I'm so excited! I still have furniture to buy, utilities to turn on and all the other crap to get in order. This is the first time I've ever had my own place with no roommate or significant other. It's going to feel so good to have a place that's all my own. I'm so happy for me!
This place is so rad too. It's only about 900 sq ft, but that'll be perfect for me right now. The master bedroom has a ginormous walk-in closet which of course I love. The bathroom in the master bedroom has this unbelievably large shower with stone tile and one of those huge rain shower heads. And what really sold it for me was the place also comes with a 42" flat screen tv already mounted above the fireplace. It's so fucking awesome.
Over the next two weeks I need to accumulate a ton of crap to fill my new place!

I am assuming an Ikea trip ought to be in order, at the very least. That's my favorite place to accumulate random crap for my home without spending a jillion dollars. So rad you have that TV in there too!
