So along with all the other things that my trip to england involved, one thought that occurred to me was that I was wasting a lot of money on various things. I now have a reason to save money, I believe, but more about that later.
As part of that, I resolved to do something about the server that I run. Currently, I lease a dedicated server from ev1servers.net.
It costs me $119 a month. Originally when I started up with it, I had three people who were agreed upon splitting the costs evenly with me. One of those died. The other two have stopped sending me their checks every six months. So I now pay 119 a month by myself, despite the fact that at least 6 other people make use of my server. I just sent them all an email saying basically, SEND ME MONEY OR DIE... only nicer.
I'm either going to start receiving money, or switch to a different and cheaper host for my own sites.
On that note, however, is there anyone here that wants webspace for something and is prepared to pay me for it?.
