It's been six years since I was last in my native land. Sometimes I get homesick, I don't miss the people, even my family that I left behind.. I miss the places. I miss London, I miss walking along the Thames at night, or barefoot down Whitehall on my way home from the clubs.. I miss the trees, where I grew up. England has an aura that no other place I've ever been posesses. I've been around a chunk of America in the time I've been here, probably seen about 8 or 9 states by now, but it's like everything here is on a larger scale. Everything here is Super Sized. The people, heh, the streets, the buildings, the landscape. I'm used to it now, but sometimes I just wish I could go back to the normal sized England. Of course, you can never really go home. Once you leave it, it becomes something completely different. Some place you've never been.

Doesn't mean I won't ever try to go back though. I think I'm going later this year. I don't know if I'll ever make my life there, though. I've been here the majority of my so called 'adult' life, and it's hard to contemplate leaving what I have here behind, even if what I have here isn't necessarily worth staying for..

I don't know what the future holds though. I just follow the tao.

I know what you mean about London, it really is a great place with its own unique energy. I find it like this in most old cities, felt similar in Florence.
Like you said, States is your home, London would be different for you now bwcause you would be looking at it through the eyes of a visitor. Have you ever read Kahalil Gibran's Prophet? The start when he sees the ship and the feelings he experiences is so true.
What line of work are you in?
You don't seem so intimidating.
