This is a very special song for me. I was a victim of sexist violence for 10 years.
I suffered blows, kicks, mistreatment. I was afraid of he, when I heard this song I identified so much with her. and she drew strength to be able to stop the abuse. 10 years passed and I was left a widow.
Now even though he no longer exists, fear persists, I suffer from psychosis, I can't trust people and I'm terrified of any man's screams. Now I have loved again and I continue with. fear of him

I am so sorry for your pain and suffering. But a question arises. How did he die? I'm wondering whether he had a fatal illness and had to live knowing he would soon be dead while everyone around him would continue perfectly healthy. This might help explain his rage and his violence towards you. Or perhaps he was just an appalling bully. Either way, my prayers go out for you.
