I need a day job. I'm really sick of running a deficit every month. I can't really afford the rent here...but more than that, I can't afford the cost to move to a cheaper place. So...day job. I applied to Blockbuster, the Buckle, Vans and Half Price Books. I'd love to work at Blockbuster because their application process was fantastic and efficient and asked good questions. And I respect that. I refuse to apply to Borders cause they're commies. I don't want to be "that girl" who works at Starbucks. And I don't want to touch food. Any suggestions?
My show previewed tonight. It went really well. Nobody fucked anything up and the actors don't know what they'd do without me. Which is always my goal. Make yourself invaluable and no one will give you shit.
We went grocery shopping the other day and got the fixin's for grilled cheese, pasta and peanut butter sandwiches. Hopefully that'll last us two weeks. Also bought gas today. Hope THAT will last us two weeks. I'm really tired of being poor all the time. I'm seriously considering looking into food stamps cause I can't afford jack shit. And it's really stressing me out.
On a positive note I'm going on vacation in a week and a half! My mommy's taking me on a cruise. It's only for a weekend but it'll be fantastic. Poor Sean is getting left home all alone though. And that's four shows that I won't get paid for...but...first vacation in like 3 years. That's kind of a necessity.
And my birthday is in three weeks. I'm trying to get our musical director to write me a song. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will get me a new laptop. Mine doesn't charge anymore. And it doesn't like to start up all the time. And it shuts itself off randomly...especially in the middle of filling out job applications. So I need a new one. I'd love a netbook except I need a CD/DVD drive.
OH! The LHC did collisions today. I'm super excited. Also I bought a cake pan today even though I couldn't afford it...and I'm gonna make cake!!
