Amused at myself today. Really - the universe conspires - and it can only be humorous.
I have more auditions than I can shake a stick at - and while some jobs still seem to come my way (there is great inertia to this acting thing), the ones I pursue have not been coming lately. So...complaints are for those who do not work - and I cannot put myself in that category. Yet the gods are not without a sense of humor in terms of what I get.
The boredom, therefore, continues. Great heaping mounds of boredom, falling down on me like this blasted snow. Though - I suppose I should stop and count my lucky stars after the miraculous save that occurred today on the road - when suddenly the car in front of me stopped. I slid directly towards it - and while sliding, was able to maneuver my car into the tiny car-shaped box formed by all the other stopped cars next to the one I was about to hit. It was truly amazing. When we came to a stop inches from all the cars around us, my friends couldn't speak.
*sigh* and the friend I am most enamored with is either busy or away, so there's no fun to be had there - which is what I was most hoping for this week to help alleviate this boredom.
Must see movies. Must see plays. Must go to parties this weekend,
