Unfortunately I have had little luck when it comes to romance and as such nothing amazing. Instead I'll regale and perhaps bore you with a quick story of what apparently became the most disastrous romantic gesture I have made
So This happened about 7 years ago whilst I was handling all the court copying duties for my company and as such I got to know some of the regulars down at the District court. I became particularly close to one such girl who I saw maybe once every other day depending on her own companies needs.
Eventually I decided that I would ask her out and had intended to do so the day before Valentines Day although and I have always hated this part of me but I was unable to and in this case (although thankfully nobody noticed) most oddly by completely freezing up just as she was coming out of the elevator and I was heading toward them to leave. I also mean that literally since I actually felt my heart stop.
Any how I decided not to let this stop me so I swung by the flower shop and decided to get some flowers sent to her along with a message and leave it at that.
I didn't see her on Valentines day despite the fact it was a tuesday which at the time was the busiest day at district court and so it was Wednesday I saw her only to find she was quite angry at me and refused to talk to me about it. After that I never saw her again.
The thing is I'm not sure what it was since the times we talked she made no indication she was seeing someone nor did I notice a ring on her finger
