i did to days crossword in like 30 minutes, god im a dork but i love to wake up just knowing the new one is waiting for me. Put on some good music and rack my brain for the useless trivia i stack like old newspapers in there.

By "the futility of this", you mean your journal? I've found with mine that the response is proportional to (N + Y) X Z, where N = the amount of effort I put into my entries; Y = the number of people on my friends list who are presumably reading it occasionally; and Z = the number of posts I make on the boards, thus drawing the attention of members I don't "know" yet.

Up to you how much response is worth what degree of effort. Personally, I wish I had more time and energy to participate here.

long weekend, my job is killing me and my friends didnt help with thier enforcement of dinking copious amounts of liquor for my birthday. Well its over and my liver thanks me. Im sleeping all day and playing mindless games, i cant even bring myself to read, and i just got a new Will Self novel "Grey Area". well on and on i go

ive been sick as all hell, the stuff i expell from my lungs is beyond discription. Why the hell did my body choose the end of April??? the sun is out more every day and im inside praying to morpheus to grant me Sleep or medication. I need some good movies since all TV is eating colon blow lately.

I say find the time to try and catch up with those old friends. Might be your subconscious is trying to tell you something with those dreams.

Sometimes you have to go back and touch base with the past to put the present and/or future in perspective.

I've never been sorry I followed the impulsle to go back and see old friends - but all the times I had the opportunity and didn't take it, THOSE I regret.
