THINGS TO DO:
1) work on design plans. exciting news.
in keeping with my traditions of lateral explorations and instinctual second-guessing games, i am now designing men's fashion.
and i am realizing how BORING most men are when it comes to dress, let me tell you!
what can i say, except that i like color? men seem to be trapped in this dull grey earthtone spectrum, unless they wear sports jerseys. they fade into the floor
well, i plan to change this. and this is all very exciting. so i plan to sleep soon.
2) i've just gotten started on my bedtime story, and finished the second page, which looks great. first page, paper engineering okay, but need to redesign.
i have also found out about a proper portable bed, queen-size, that i can use for improptu performances of the book. an air matress fits on it. so this may work well for burning man, if i wanted to bring this one out there.
i'm still wedded to a scattered "book" throughout the vault of heaven, so i could walk around town. i hate being tied down when in black rock.
soon, i should have a list here explaining all influences for interactive, "playful" and psychedelic fiction. i sent this list to someone here without saving a copy for myself. once i get it again, so will you, of course!

i can't have been the only girl to do an androgynous/boy set?
Every one of my friends said "Jesus Damien, why are you wearing those stupid beads? Come on man, take that shit off, it looks ridiculous." This was the best response possible and I continued to wear them proudly for weeks and garner many criticisms from all who knew me. I was so happy. Then my friend Carrie whose New Year's resolution was "Fight Everyone" yanked them off me to pick a fight, and although I didn't fight her I did call her names and was sad.
Then on Monday I went back to the same bar and lo and behold the leftover beads were all in a bowl on a table and now I am rocking the gold mardi gras beads once again. Fuck you Carrie!
I keep threatening to paint my chopper hot pink just to hear my fellow club members freak out and demand that I not do it. Maybe in the springtime.
