First off...

Happy Holidays to allayall. it's been good to be part of a new community, and see what i can get out of the whole shebanger.

i actually got a chance to see some of you at sgla on saturday, and it was quite a good thing, actually. i was very happy to see that most of the people on this site were hardly the sorts of alpha-males that one normally associates with porn. perhaps, in my idealistc heart of hearts, one could say that if we're part of a community which is based as much on the reality of who we are as much as our fantasy, this may do much to change how we see ourselves, remove the stigma of sexual expression, etc. whatever, it was a great time.

met many lovely people there. ebin and his roommate, franandzooey and her buddy from high school (who ended up with my present), Cap'n Vic, Cedar. you're such a lovely audience we'd love to take you home with us we'd love to take you home.

aside from that, most of the weekend was spent costuming and purchasing gifts for the long road back to nj for the holidays. considering the fact that i'm going cross-country, i'm hoping that my flight isn't blown up or hijacked by pissed-off arabs who are sick of being whored for their oil by bushco. so hopefully, we'll all get through this time in one piece.
