i have mentioned on v.'s comment site about a recipe to share. sorry, it
is not carnivorous but you will like it all the same
. it's also a very rare
simpsons easter egg. at the end of their "lisa the vegetarian" episode if you
have the means to do this play the end theme backwards. a reference to
a lentil soup recipe in the episode is fulfilled as you'll get the entire one.

bad karma has been spread out by some spammer who has sent something
like 1000 messages by guessing my email password. grrr. balanced out someone by finding out
the lovely dame darcey is in my yoga class. those of you familiar with lisa suckdog,
nerve.com contributor, former girlfriend to gg allin and former
publisher of rollerderby (or even a casual reader of la weekly or
village voice) will know her. you may also remember her stint in "blind date,"
where in the obligatory jacuzzi scene these couples always end up in, she
dressed up as a mermaid and spoke mermese to her perplexed paramour.

posting about the new arthur verocai reissue out on luv'n'haight on friendster. enjoying obscure
music sometimes pays. and it is a lovely album, by one of brazil's most talented
composers.
