the husband would like a zombie apocalypse kit for christmas.... what should i put in it? we've already got a shotgun, i'll be getting a handgun soon. obviously i'll put ammo, canned foods, can opener in it...batteries...etc...but what else?

you look through the peep hole at whatever your trying to signal and they'll see the reflection of the light. you can also get these at those outdoor sporting goods stores.
and yeah, all the above stuff is what i carried out on real world military missions. to include the signal mirror. it was more than enough for basic survival.
depending on amount of food and water you're planning on needing, all that stuff fits in a regular sized back pack.
