Hiatus on new entries whilst I reevaluate my blogging needs.

Today, I am home from work with strep throat. Everytime I swallow (you know, food and drink you perverts), it really, really hurts my right ear and throat. I've been trying to sleep it off, but I just napped for 4 hours, so that's pretty much done.

I must be sick, because I'd really rather be at work right now than be dealing with this.

Weird day. A friend of mine was feeling pretty down last night, and I've been a bit worried about her all morning. For my lunch break I came home, took a very short nap, and ate leftovers. It's funny how many worries that fixes. I should probably do it more often.

I had a good weekend. I hung out with friends, watched some good movies. There's some stress at work: It turns out my current position is temporary as some kind of "rotate the new people through different work types" program, but I'm happy to be getting a paycheck. I almost really screwed up at work today. At 2:00, I overlooked a work order that 1) probably needed doing before the weekend, and 2) needed to be done by someone else. Fortunately, someone else was already aware of the issue, and the customer pegged it as low priority. Otherwise, I would have accidentally stuck a coworker on OT on a Friday night. Ick.
