Following up on my last blog, I'm thinking that "bad word" censorship is stupid and pointless. Here's the original video:
Kinda amusing if you like muppets. I do, so I enjoy that. Here's the "censored" version:
Notice how you automatically put the bad words in, even though they were never there to begin with? The meaning is there without the specific word. The beeping sound has replaced the word "fuck" in terms of sound, but not in meaning. In any movie broadcast on television, a phrase with the beep has the same meaning, and should be just as offensive as one with the word.
Perhaps it's the tequila typing. Television doesn't make much sense anyway.
