Haha, so today at work, they put me on my first 'official' cash shift...woo >_>
So they had me stand there for the first couple hours, and dictate how to run the till, etc...All the while im laughing in my head. Why do i laugh? because i've done cash jobs before, i was a supervisor for a gas bar, handling thousands of dollars at any given time...im pretty sure i know how to run a till and scan a few books xD
Ah so that was fun...So as my shift went on, and my sales soared through the roof (yeah right)...i happen to lean over to grab this gentleman's VISA, to give it back to him along with his final paperwork, etc...and i hit a button by total accident. Not just any normal button...neh neh....No this button just happen to be the "HELP WE'RE BEING ROBBED" button... Oh joy of joys...
So the silent alarm is tripped, and the cash drawer jumps out and nuts me...head on, no sign of stopping..
To make matters worse, the cops show up shortly there after...
Ah so after many hours of paper work, and a warning of final termination of my position if that button i pushed again, i got to go home...in a blizzard. YAY
