Time to throw my hat in the ring before it's too late, but I had to wait and see who would tag me in their appreciation posts (I'm secretly super petty like that π). I'll start off with a couple names that will be very familiar to anyone who's read my blogs before: @olgakulaga and @shameless. Yes, they're models here, but also members of the community, too.
I could (and have) write volumes about what @olgakulaga means to me, personally, but as a member, her spirit and kindness lift everyone around her. This community, and the world, is lucky to have her in it.
@shameless is a tough-as-nails-but-also-adorable little pocket rocket, who I've known even longer than I have Olga. She has a big heart, and similar distaste for bullies as me. Although she is petite and gorgeous, I'd let Shameless have my back in a fight any day.
I wanted to single these ladies out, because if any of the people I'm about to mention are grateful in the slightest to have met me, it wouldn't have happened without them.
@amoxi- movie buddy, lemon enthusiast, grower of melons she claims are actually cucumbers. One of the few people I actually enjoy talking to, either here or IRL. Still looking for a "Balloon Knot" thread, maybe I'll start one...π€ (nerd)
@truetrue316- my brother-from-another-mother. We figured out early on our similar mentalities on some pretty serious subjects, and were friends from the jump. I'll always be here for ya, buddy. Even if you are from Florida π
@adam_bovary- as I mentioned before, I look forward to many years of trading smartass comments back-and-forth, and I'm still down if you want to go vigilante on whoever stole your Vespa.
@inkedodie- I can only assume that this is the 1000th+ blog you've been tagged in this week, and there's a reason for that. Every time I see you in a thread, group, or comment section, you are lifting people up. You've done it for me on several occasions, and you are a credit to this community, and the human race. I'm glad to know you, man.
@romous117- you're genuine, kind, and British. Those 3 things alone make you cool in my book. I hope to get to know you better over time.
and finally, @shawntloe- I know exactly 3 things about you: 1. You also served in Korea 2. You live in Canada now 3. Amoxi likes you an awful lot. So I can infer 3 more things: 1. You fucked something up big time π 2. You made up for it and were rewarded 3. You're a person worth getting to know and calling friend.
