For anyone who read Part 1, I'll start with an update. I had previously written that I was so bored during my stay-at-home-but-not-by-choice vacation, that I was actively trying to pick fights on Facebook, by trolling the trolls on the Cleveland Guardians page. The Guardians had posted a nice "Happy Kwanzaa" message, and as you can imagine, the assholes were out in force. One woman, who claimed that BET was racist because they didn't include enough white people, ended up calling me argumentative and tiresome when asked to explain...which ate up a whole twenty minutes (collectively) of my day. I then drove 40 minutes, one way, to a Lowe's that is not closest to my house.
But there's big news on the boredom front! I had completely forgotten about day drinking and weed! "But I thought you said you were broke, 'Not Ferris'? How can you afford alcohol and The Devil's Lettuce?" Well, I'll tell you. I happen to be a combat Infantry vet, with an undiagnosed, but very real, problem with stress and anxiety. Two of my coworkers (and good friends) worry enough about me, and care enough, to continually force their weed on me. I still don't smoke much, even with their prodding, so I've accumulated a nice little stash. As for the booze, I work in the trades, I don't get a lot of cash tips, but customers have given me a ton of liquor. So tomorrow, I plan on getting stoned, getting drunk, and cleaning the house (last time that happened, I woke up the next day and one of my couches was gone, but that's a different story). So stay tuned, if I blog tomorrow, it might get weird.
