Partied with US Military in Portugal in my teens & Stateside quite a few times. Partied with some of Boston’s, ah, shadier element a good bit in the late eighty’s, law enforcement types too. Not for the feint of heart. Secret Service Protective Detail took the prize though. 3am “let’s go skydiving” the night before a presidential debate. I politely declined!
