okay... so this is it... the pretty bauble i'm going to bribe maggie into marrying me with!!! LOL! i was going to just jump into a proposal kinda, but i want it to be something special... not cliche shit, but something cool, that we'll never forget, and also something that won't make me climb any buildings or anything scary ( 'fraid o heights guys... lol! ) doesn't have to be fancy schmancy ( remember, i'm poor just like you... ) but something cute, and fun... any ideas???

That ring is pretty sweet.
I have no recommendations for the official proposal but as long as it's from the heart it will turn out fine.
My husband didn't do anything fancy but it meant allot.
We used to go to the park after work when we were in highschool. He would push me on the swings and we would talk till the sun came up.
So a few years later, we were visiting from college and were driving past that same park, and he said "lets just stop and swing for a bit, like old times."
So we did, and as he pushed me on the swing he said "do you remember all those nights we came here and how we would talk until way past curfew", "I remember the first night we came here like it was yesterday."
Then he came around to the front of the swing got down on his knee and popped open the ring box and said "that was the first time I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you." And then he asked me and I cried.
See something simple could be beautiful.
